Thermotubix® Aerospace - Thick Wall, Braided Fibreglass Sleeving
ApplicationsThermotubix® aerospace is a thick wall braided fibreglass inner lining, coated with a specially compounded, flame retardant silicone rubber. This product can easily be installed on cables and hoses, expanding to pass over fittings and couplings.
The aerospace grade offers an effective protection against sustained high temperatures, flames and molten metal splashes that can seriously damage electrical cables and hydraulic, gas and lubricant suply lines.
The construction of Thermotubix® Aerospace ensures an excellent fire protection for tubing up to +1100ºC peak temperature according to SAE-ASTM specifications.
This product provides thermal protection against internal and external hazards in a variety of industries, including aerospace, marine, iron and steel, plus automotive.
